"Over all, it was good. But I always feel not welcomed at front desk. Cleaning crew are nice. The public bath is excellent. However many foreigners don’t know how to take a public bath. The hotel should let the guests how to take it with Japanese manners. "

"Our stay in Galois was brief but memorable. It was a good place to rest after traveling all over Japan and well within walking distance of main city Shinjuku. Our room was clean and they provided so many amenities (even things we didn’t even think of). What was especially great was that you can store your luggage even after you check-out which was real helpful for our last day. Appreciate everything! "

"I stayed at quite a few hotels during my recent Tokyo trip and this was by far my favorite hotel. The room temperature was comfortable as often times I encountered that Tokyo hotel rooms are kept too hot during winter and there’s no way to cool them. This was not the case at Rose Garden. "Great hotel close to Otsuka Station, which was great to access the Yamanote line (JR lines). Although the rooms are small they are comfortable enough. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We used the baggage carrier service to get our baggage from Tokyo to Osaka which was great and highly recommended. The only negative thing I would say is that we wanted a late check out which they did accommodate but charged 2000 yen an hour which was double what the same hotel in Osaka charged 1000 for....

"The rooms are small compared to standard hotel rooms. Large luggage can be difficult to fit in the room although I was able to use the couch to hold it while visiting. The double bed was very comfortable! The pillows were hard and small - there were 4 pillows provided with two smaller ones and two hard memory foam pillows shaped to support the neck. "Short walk from Shinjuku station. Walkable to many flagship stores in the vicinity. Only issue it’s very noisy with emergency sirens when we’re trying to sleep. And the escalator at the front is not understandable why they don’t build two escalators in two directions instead of only having a single escalator that required the staff to manually change the direction.
