"The staff were superb and made our 2 night vist most enjoyable. The food in Sofia's was excellent as was the breakfast. The disabled room was fine with just 1 tight spot.The bathroom was well thought out and the toiletries lovely. Location for our concert at the Royal Lyceum was ideal."

"The hotel was very convenient for the EICC, the room was comfortable and well fitted. (it might have felt a bit cramped for two). The reception desk was very helpful in booking taxis etc. However it was let down by poor WiFi, even in reception by the router. Also it was unhelpful to say the least to discover there was no food at all on the Monday night I arrived."

"First time staying at the Novotel in Edinburgh. The early check in link through Hotels .com gave us a scare when the Novotel answered a query by saying they couldn't find the reservation, however, the actual check in at the desk was quick and easy . Hotel reception is bright and airy, staff were friendly. The execution room was excellent and the breakfast was first class, loads of choice. "Really enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. The suites(we had 2) were very spacious and comfortable. I was a bit surprised that the beds couldn’t be separated into twins, as there were clearly 2 single mattresses, topped by a queen mattress. Not every guest at the hotel is a couple, as in our case, a brother and sister( one slept on the sofa bed, which wasn’t as comfortable as the bed. "This was in a pretty good location! They offered breakfast options and waters in our room on the first day (nothing was ever refilled though like they had originally told us). They provide soap, shampoo and conditioner in all of the showers. There were a pair of spa slippers for each person which was cute. The floors and bed covers were very dirty though which made the whole experience just feel more run down sadly. "
