"Beautiful lake facing property in the heart of Udaipur. Breakfast is fabulous with scenic views. For dinner you may want to plan eating elsewhere especially as there’s only one restaurant at the property."

"The location had a great view of the city and the mountains. The pool was clean and the staff was nice. Things that could have been better. The rooms could have been more air tight and the hotel could use to invest in a water system for the washrooms water. It was hard water and it was not the best on the skin"

"The view from the rooftop restaurant is simply outstanding. Having breakfast there is a visual treat. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with serious mobility issues."

"Even more beautiful than in the pictures! Fateh Garh is a grand and peaceful hotel and wedding venue. We visited for the first time ahead of our 2-day wedding being hosted there in Feb 2025. We are over the moon with our choice, the people, service, food and hospitality is second to none. "This is one of my favorite places to stay anywhere in India. We have stayed here 3 times over the last 15 years, and the quality of the place remains outstanding. Located very close to the center of Udaipur, coming to the Shikarbadi is like entering a quiet retreat, surrounded by nature. So fun to watch the deer, monkeys, peacocks, and visit the horses. It is a great place to relax for the day, enjoy the food, sit around the pond and watch the kingfishers. Love it."

"Location was close to the lake and had a great view and was close to nearby attractions. The hotel lacked an elevator, gym, pool and was older. I don’t mind and older hotel which is nostalgic but it needed some amenities. Restaurants were convenient."
