"Had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel nestled in the hills! The valley view room was as described and I have added pictures of the view from the room. It’s very quiet and serene. Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable and had luxury sheets. Food and service was great. The attendants at the breakfast were very helpful and provided me with a lot of vegan choices or made custom dishes for me. They also packed us a custom breakfast to go for our early morning...

"Everyone at this location was amazing! Right from Bharat (at entrance) Sonali (at check in) Kishan, Pawan, Gaurav, Ayush and Uday (cart driver) paid attention to every detail and made us feel welcomed. Location of the hotel is spot on. Great place to stay in Udaipur if you want view of the lake and easy access to the city. Their food is great too, would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The location had a great view of the city and the mountains. The pool was clean and the staff was nice. Things that could have been better. The rooms could have been more air tight and the hotel could use to invest in a water system for the washrooms water. It was hard water and it was not the best on the skin"

"Even more beautiful than in the pictures! Fateh Garh is a grand and peaceful hotel and wedding venue. We visited for the first time ahead of our 2-day wedding being hosted there in Feb 2025. "This is one of my favorite places to stay anywhere in India. We have stayed here 3 times over the last 15 years, and the quality of the place remains outstanding. Located very close to the center of Udaipur, coming to the Shikarbadi is like entering a quiet retreat, surrounded by nature. So fun to watch the deer, monkeys, peacocks, and visit the horses. It is a great place to relax for the day, enjoy the food, sit around the pond and watch the kingfishers. Love it."
