"The staff were all excellent and attractive. The room was comfortable. The spa-bath in our en-suit was a lithe noisy but fun. We enjoyed a swim in the pool, not huge, but not busy. The only negative was breakfast was not very hot but otherwise the restaurant dinner was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Great location for exploring the south lakes and Furness peninsula. "

"We had a lovely stay at the Whitewater hotel. All the staff were very friendly. We stayed for 1 night with our 3 month old baby and was given a really spacious room on the ground floor with a travel cot. We did stay for dinner at the hotel. The starter was a bit disappointing and when the waiter asked why we hadn't finished it he took it off the bill. The lamb and the steak was lovely. Breakfast was also nice. The hotel is very outdated but if you can see past that it's in a lovely location and...

"Lovely property. Very nice rooms and spa was good. Food excellent but due to being very busy there was quite a wait for food and drinks: 30 minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were excellent. "

"Such a lovely loft area with lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Really nice locally produced bathroom products, I especially liked the Sweet Basil and Orange Hand & Body Lotion. Wish we had booked a longer stay here. Would definitely go back."

"Had the actual pub been open and operational, the stay might have been better. It is running on a shoestring and with only 3 rooms available the breakfast selection was very limited. Continental breakfast only but very little choice. The accommodation is in a hamlet with no facilities, so we had to make sure that we had a meal before we returned for the night."
