"This is my second time staying at Ameristar and it does not disappoint. The rooms are great with nice beds, pillows and the bathroom is fantastic! I also love that it's easy to walk to other properties /casinos if you want to check things out. Food at the Fireside Grill is very good with enough variety that you can eat there multiple times and not have the same thing. Overall a positive experience and this is exactly where I'll stay on my next trip to Blackhawk."

"Lobby was very inviting. There is some wear and tear on the walls and in the hallways. Our room was a little musky, but overall cozy. Couch in king suite could use a cleaning. Spa tub in king suite could use a refinishing. It looked dirty, but found to be stained or scratched. The sauna was not working and the pool was ice cold. The hot tubs had some kind of green sandy gunk in the bottom. Gym was clean and everything worked. Game room was fun and clean. The staff was great and it was very...

"The perfect place for our family to get a couple of days skiing without breaking the bank. The original room we were booked in was not fully cleaned, so the front desk person promptly gave us a new, clean room right next to the original one. She was working by herself that night and handled all of our and it looked like everyone else’s needs with grace and ease. We will be back."
