"We were looking for a not crazy expensive hotel that’s drivable to the NEC and were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were super friendly and efficient, leafy surroundings are beautiful, the room was roomy and comfortable, and the food top notch. Recommend the buffet breakfast. Only regrets: we couldn’t stay longer and there’s not a huge difference between the deluxe and superior room if you’re thinking of upgrading."

There was a dining room issue on a Saturday evening where the number of guests overwhelmed the kitchen resulting in food item shortages and a lengthy wait for the food but it arrived at all times very hot and the breakfast was especially good. "This is a lovely hotel, the room was very comfortable and clean with the expected amenities. Check in was a little confusing, especially after a long day of travel. No one man’s reception after 5pm(?) and we found ourselves wandering around looking for someone to help us, which wasn’t great.
