"Mariel and Dirk were absolutely wonderful hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was as nice as a 5 star hotel in Aruba but much more affordable. "We booked this property last minute as we had our flight cancelled and thought we would be stuck for a few days due to weather back home. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was a good value (for example 2 espresso and 2 croissant for breakfast were $10). "I can’t say enough about this lovely oasis. Clean, quiet. Spacious room, our own patio surrounded by palm trees and beautiful flowering plants, breakfast served by the pool each morning. "Grounds were beautiful what I would expect from a St.Regis property..What we didn't like is the lack of communication and support from concierge.The rooftop restaurant the bartenders were exceptional,We had stopped in the first night for a sunset cocktail and was so thrilled with the atmosphere we decided to make a reservation there and cancel at a different location and we specifically asked the hostess if we could sit outside she said of course.We arrive for dinner and she puts us at a table inside! When I asked why is she seating us inside after we were told specifically had the conversation about eating outside she responded that's for larger groups! We were a party of 6 and there was plenty of empty tables out there..Very disappointed in both her ability to understand that we canceled another place because we were told we could eat outside that night.i honestly couldn't believe this was a St.Regis establishment "
